A Brand Story That Turned a Crisis into an Opportunity
In the rapidly growing aesthetic market in Turkey, we formed a dedicated team to manage BTL
AESTHETICS' digital presence, combining over 20 years of expertise in health communication. We
created content that complied with health communication regulations and ran campaigns with
FDA-approved products.
While executing our campaigns, we were suddenly attacked by an economist influencer. A well-known
economist shared a post from a gym saying "don’t believe in these technologies" and mentioned us,
creating a full-blown crisis!
Thanks to our system that monitors our social media accounts in real-time, we immediately took action.
We organized an emergency meeting with our brand, gathered all FDA and Ministry of Health approvals,
along with academic reports, and added them to our website. During this process, our website traffic
reached 4,000 daily visits. We then sent the prepared message and documents to the relevant social media
influencer. Thanks to our crisis management, the influencer deleted the post and we neutralized the
misinformation. This process strengthened our brand’s credibility and transformed into a major success
by increasing product demand.
